Joseph Aguk – Food Security And Nutrition Director

Joseph Aguk is a sustainable food systems enthusiast with a keen interest in utilization of edible insects  as food and feed, promotion of under-utilized food resources and an independent consultant in the areas of data collection, data analysis, systematic literature review and value chain analysis. He holds a Masters degree in Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) and Bachelors degree in Agribusiness Management from Egerton University. He currently serves as the Director Food Security and Nutrition at KEP-Kenya. He is passionate about nature conservation and rearing of edible insects.
